HOW TO ENTER
To be eligible to enter the draw, individuals who are members of the PULSE Rewards Program must present their PULSE Rewards card at the point of sale when they make a qualifying purchase at any store participating in the PULSE program between 5 June 2010 and 11:59pm AEST on 1 August 2010. A qualifying purchase is defined as a purchase of $5.00 (AUD for Australian residents and NZD for New Zealand Residents) or more for existing and newly enrolled PULSE members.
With each qualifying purchase made, the entrant will receive a voucher containing a unique code. To enter the draw, entrants must, during the promotional period, visit www.pulserewards.com.au, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input all requested details including the unique code found on the voucher and submit the fully completed entry form.
TERMS
AND CONDITIONS
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older who are members of PULSE. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per qualifying purchase; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; (c) only one (1) unique code per entry is permitted; (d) the same unique code cannot be used more than once; and (e) unrecognised codes will be deemed invalid. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- Promotion commences on 5 June 2010. Final entries must be received by 11:59pm AEST on 1 August 2010. The draw will take place at Visible Results Australia Pty Ltd, 2C Hayes Rd Rosebery NSW 2018 on 9 August 2010 at 12pm AEST. Draw winner will be notified by phone and email. The name of the winner will be published in The Australian on 16 August 2010. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first valid entry drawn from all entries received during the promotional period will win a trip for two (2) people to Fiji, valued at up to AUD$8,000, depending on date and point of departure. Prize consists of two (2) return economy flights from the winner's nearest Australian or New Zealand capital city to Nadi Fiji. Prize also includes four (4) nights’ accommodation for two (2) people in 5 star Fiji Resort, complimentary daily breakfasts and transfers from and to the airport in Fiji. Additional expenses, including airport departure taxes, additional meals and/or beverages not specified, insurance (compulsory), items of a personal nature, in-room charges, all other ancillary costs, any optional tours or activities, tips and items of a personal nature, are at the winner’s expense. Travel is subject to availability at time of booking. Travel is not available during school holidays or peak holiday periods such as Christmas or Easter. Booking is subject to availability. Travel must be completed by 31 March 2011.
- Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in.
- Estimated prize value may fluctuate slightly due to time of the year trip is taken in relation to high and low season. The value of this prize and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to change. Any change to the prize value and inclusions between the publishing date and the date prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter. Prize value is in Australian dollars.
- The prize and booking of the prize is subject to the standard booking terms and conditions of Escape Travel. Winner must hold a valid passport and must obtain travel insurance and the necessary visas prior to travel, all of which are at the winner’s expense.
- If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
- If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Total prize pool is up to AUD$8,000. Prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash
- A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 29 November 2010 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner, if any, will be notified by phone and email and their name will be published in The Australian on 6 December 2010.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) a prize.
- The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
